Nominations for North American Co-Chair for PALISI GH subgroup

The responsibilities include: 

·     Work collegially with the co-chair and communications director to organize subgroup activities for both the spring and fall PALISI meetings. 

·     Assist with monthly seminar speaker series including obtaining speakers. 

·     Foster an environment and assist in the development of new research ideas for the group. 

·     Continue the current ongoing studies of the subgroup and assist in study execution. 

·     Work to grow the subgroup in membership and scientifically across low and middle-income countries  

The Co-Chair will take official office at the spring PALISI meeting in 2027. (Current Co-Chairs Dr. Jhon Camacho-Cruz and Dr. Adrian Holloway. Dr Holloway will cycle off Spring 2027. The term of the co-chair position will be from Spring 2027-2029.

To be considered, please submit your name, affiliation, a paragraph of current activities with PALISI and the PALISI Global Health Subgroup, and a paragraph on why you would like to serve in this role to palisiglobalhealth@gmail.com. 

Nominations will be accepted until August 14th and Elections will take place from August 21-September 9th. Results will be announced at the PALISI Global Health subgroup meeting at the Fall 2026 meeting, scheduled for 9/10/26 at 1400 CDT (hybrid meeting format). Registration information for the subgroup meeting will be shared at a later date.
